The Churches in our Benefice

St George’s is the Parish Church for the Benefice of Georgeham, Croyde and surrounding villages. Services are conducted according to “Common  Worship” and are informal, centring on joyful worship, praise and the preaching of the Scriptures. The Church sets out to offer a welcoming environment where all can come to know the love of God in their lives.

It is also home to our parish office. This is situated in the Old Mortuary and is accessed from the main road.

If you are coming by car, parking can be found in the village carpark and is free. It is a few minutes walk to the church. The address for the car park is: Chapel St, Georgeham, Braunton EX33 1QL.


St Mary’s, our daughter church, can be found nestled in the village of Croyde.

If you are coming by car, parking can be found in the village carpark, a charge applies. It is a about 5/6 minute walk to the church. The address for the car park is: 1 Jones's Hill, Croyde, Braunton EX33 1LX

St Mary's has a variety of services including the anglican 'Book of Common Prayer' and 'Common Worship' with Holy Communion held once a month. The 'Exploring Prayer' service is an opportunity to experience a variety of different historic or traditional forms of Christian prayer.
