It all begins with an idea!
So apart from regular giving, from time to time we have specific projects we focus on. Some are small and some a little bigger. All of our projects are based around growing the church and outreach to our community and further afield.
So this page will layout projects we are implementing and provide opportunities for you to give to specific projects in addition to any other giving you make - exciting times ahead. With God we can move mountains
A little Project for 2024
The Church Organ: The organ at St George’s Church require’s some major repairs and a service to the tune of around £2,000
We have set up a small fund for people to donate to the repairs. We have tried to break it down into small segments like, ‘adopt a key’ We have 146 keys in the organ. £15.00 a key x 146 will give us the funds to repair the lovely organ for the foreseeable future.
Project Update January 31st 2024
Well you really are amazing! We have hit the target for the Organ Fund Project - Thank you so much. John McDonald who organised the repairs and got the organ back up and running.
The Audio Visual Project 2024/25
The sound System This has been held together for sometime by sticky plaster, glue and other creative methods. Thanks to the many generous gifts from people we have managed to replace the legacy system with something a little more modern!
We are now focussing on improving the visual side of the system and again with some very generous donations are almost there and ready to get the next piece of the jigsaw installed.
